Everything is relative, isn't it so.
Yesterday felt nice - brisk. It was somewhere around 16° in the daytime, which still somehow felt like 30° in the sun, but the wind carried a little arctic feel. And then all of a sudden it was 5°C lakeside around midnight. And somewhere around 3a, just 1°, still lakeside. So sure, the cold temperature held off the constant buzzing of the mosquitos, at least for one August night. But nothing ever kills the anticipation of a presently clear, darkish sky, to knowing at any moment, the aurora will emerge and have you turning in circles wondering where to watch.
