That was a good one, wasn't it?

And you thought we were done with this all the pinks business. Blame it on the sun, and this unbelievable cluster of coronal holes that has finally rotated back out of the earth strike zone, for another 23 days, anyway.
An extended period of southward Bz (magnetic field) brought us two substorms in a bang-bang fashion last night. It was predictable, and it kept me up for hours upon getting back home. The thrill, and the sheer amazement in this just can not become old, or usual. The pinks. Pinks everywhere. Entire arcs of northern lights solid in pink. How.... Can you even express yourself about this? That's what I don't wish to know, and will never know how to do. Along with being able to sleep at a normal hour after an experience like this.
