It felt like another perfect dream. We left Yellowknife in heavy cloud (how is that a dream?!), and soon enough looking out the windscreen, the sky opened up with one or two or three, then a couple more, eventually dozens, and finally an entire sky littered of stars. Only after, however, I had admitted out loud that I was quite certain they were stars, but there was also the possibility I may be losing my mind a little bit. You know, wanting to see them so badly that interior dash lights reflecting on windows could very well pass as stars in a quick glance out the side window at 90km/h. But no, they were stars, a beautiful night ensued, and I hadn't lost my mind fully yet.
