7cm of snow in two hours wasn't going to stop us. Not with wide open clear skies out northwest. 

All of a sudden our evenings are consistently clear, the sun is launching flares & CMEs, auroral conditions are some of the most favourable I've seen all season, it's patio weather during the day (-2°), and just a windchill of -11° overnight. What a week to be a Yellowknife aurora chaser.
