Not to get off on a tangent, but if the car is reading -40° at 21:43 out on a lake, does it not stand to make some sense that four hours later, the temperature has proobbbbably dropped at least another degree or two? Or did Ford say, "hey, no one is actually ever going to be stupid enough to be out in colder than -40°, so let's just cap the coldest reading to that".

Either way, these nights are my favourite. Infotainment design flaws and all.
