It was getting to that time of the night (morning). The wind was again doing a pretty good number on us out there, an additional 10° as a windchill in fact, bringing us to -28°. But it just wasn't time to let go of the night, and within minutes the sky exploded. I mean, exploded out of nowhere. In seconds, just the faintest little arc across the sky broke into the most vibrant greens and purples dancing right overhead.
