It was déjà vu all over again. 

Two nights ago, we drove east, as far east as we could, to try to outrun clouds and a pretty good wind and snow storm. We failed, mostly.
Last night, we did the same. Except we won, mostly. While eventually some cloud caught up to us by somewhere around 1:30a, it wasn't before fairly vibrant green and maroon arcs glowed above and through a beautiful tree line to the north of us.
