The only problem with -8°C in January is clouds. I mean, I got to open the balcony slider door to shovel off about 3,455kg of snow in a t-shirt, which was pretty great. But aside from that, what else could you ask for in January? Clear, cold, crisp nights? It would be nice too. 

So when we finished the night a hair (1.2km to be exact) under 300 kilometres, I will tell you that every single one of them was worth it for a 2:30am momentary burst in clear skies way out west.
