With another cloud front on its way in from the east right as twilight set in, we fled the house like criminals and took off north west driving right into a seemingly never ending sunset. When we finally had outrun the clouds, we hunkered down on Great Slave for the night to mostly clear skies and a few perfect-for-photography clouds. The aurora began gently, very gently, but it didn't take long. Again beginning in the southern sky, a strong arc formed low on the horizon, and its break-up wasn't long after. We stayed late, again, and cherished a night of G1 storming, again.
