Last night started off just like every other evening starts. A double rainbow seemingly beginning from the backyard of our guesthouse, and a few hours later, photographing and watching the aurora begin to fill the sky lying down in the back of Elska (our Ford Flex - ask us about the name later) with the tailgate open as it poured overhead.
As the clouds pushed northeast beginning to engulf the aurora, we took the opportunity to head west where the skies were further clearing. Purples and pinks danced faster that you can imagine after a lightning storm passed west to east out further north. It was spectacular, and well, I think the photos maybe do better than my words.
